Tata Electronics on Tuesday said the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has dropped scrutiny into the firm's iPhone parts manufacturing plant. The board had warned the firm of a shutdown unless it addressed concerns about wastewater discharge contaminating open wells in nearby agricultural lands. Tata Electronics said the board confirmed that the firm has addressed all concerns satisfactorily.
