Oil India Limited (OIL) has said that the Chairman of Pollution Control Board Assam has spoken to OIL's CMD regarding the notice to close down all production as well as drilling operations in Baghjan oil field. "The closure notice is in process of being lifted," OIL added. The notice was issued after a gas well caught fire on June 9.
