AAP leader Atishi criticised the BJP over power cuts, calling it a "Gareeb Virodhi" (anti-poor) party. "Since...BJP came to power...poor people have been suffering...there are long power cuts...how can they afford an inverter?" she said. "Electricity prices are hiked...homes of poor are being demolished...What is the BJP government doing...do they want poor...to run away from Delhi?" Atishi added.
