Poor quality water is being consumed in parts of Bengaluru with total dissolved solids and water hardness levels exceeding permissible limits in Electronic City, HSR Layout and Whitefield areas, according to a recent study. High TDS levels in water can cause nausea, lung irritation, among other health problems. The study used water samples taken between January and May this year.
