Government has given environmental clearance to India’s largest FDI- Posco’s Rs 52,000-crore steel plant in Odisha, which has languished since 2005. Environment minister Moily delinked the two aspects of Posco's project, a steel plant and a port project, and granted approval for steel plant with an annual production capacity of 12-million tons. While, environment clearance for the port is pending.
