A postcard written by Mahatma Gandhi has been auctioned in the US for nearly ₹13.80 lakh. Mahatma Gandhi had written the postcard, dated November 30, 1924, to Indian freedom movement leader Annie Besant. He wrote to Besant informing her about a trip taken by his son Devdas and had thanked her for gifting him a towel.
