Several fans across Kerala put up posters and banners of footballers Lionel Messi, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and others ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Brazil supporters installed a massive banner featuring Neymar and members of Brazil's coaching staff in Malappuram. The municipality also unveiled a football-themed art installation promoting a plastic-free environment ahead of the tournament.
