Potholes don't mean we didn't spend money on infra: K'taka minister as woman dies due to pothole

After the death of 32-year-old Medha Akarsh near Bengaluru sparked an uproar over the quality of roads, Karnataka minister Santosh Lad said, "Just because there're potholes, it doesn't mean we haven't spent money on infrastructure." Medha was travelling pillion on a two-wheeler, which skidded on a pothole-ridden road. She was thrown onto the road and run over by a vehicle.
