Aiding distribution companies in recovering purchase cost, the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission hiked power tariff in the capital by upto 7%, Thursday, with effect from Saturday. The customers of BSES Yamuna Power Ltd will be charged 7% extra, while those of BSES Rajdhani will have to pay 4.5% more and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd consumers' will pay 2.5% more.
