Residents of Mumbai may have to pay more for electricity consumption from April as two major suppliers - Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited and Tata Power - have proposed tariff hikes. For electricity consumption between 100-300 units, Tata has proposed hike of 10-30%, while Adani has proposed hike of 2%. Adani also proposed hike of 7% for consumption between 301-500+ units.
