A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on Monday. Several buildings collapsed in the region, with agencies issuing tsunami warnings. The warnings were issued for Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Guam, Papua New Guinea and several Pacific island territories. Multiple people were injured after the earthquake.
