Two-time Olympic medallist PR Sreejesh has alleged Hockey India is not renewing his contract as junior men’s team head coach to bring in a foreign coach. Calling it the first time he has seen a coach removed despite strong results, Sreejesh asked, "Can’t Indian coaches develop Indian hockey?" He also recalled Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya backing him in March.
