Billionaire Harsh Goenka has criticised luxury fashion brand Prada for allegedly selling leather sandals that look like Kolhapuri chappals for ₹1 lakh. "Our artisans make the same by hand for ₹400. They lose, while global brands cash in on our culture. Sad!" he said. Kolhapuri chappals, which originated from Maharashtra, can be dated back to 12th century.
