Pregnancy rewires a woman's brain with each child: Study

An Amsterdam University Medical Centre study found a woman's brain changes in different way with each pregnancy. The biggest changes during first pregnancy occurred in Default Mode Network, linked to social behaviour and self-reflection. In second pregnancy, changes were smaller but affected attention-related brain network. Study found a stronger mother-child bonding link after first pregnancy.
