Pregnant woman, her child die as nurse performs surgery in Punjab

A pregnant woman and her child died after a nurse performed her surgery in the absence of a doctor at the Civil Hospital in Punjab's Abohar. After the child died, the hospital referred the mother to a private hospital, and she passed away while being taken to another hospital. The hospital's Civil Surgeon assured an investigation into the matter.
