Premier League appearances record-holder James Milner retires after 24 year-career

Brighton midfielder James Milner announced retirement from professional football after 24 seasons in the Premier League. The 40-year-old made 658 Premier League appearances, the most by any player, and scored 56 goals. He became Premier League's youngest scorer at age 16 in 2002. He made 61 international appearances for England and won the Premier League title three times.
