Premji, Pai's offices planning to invest $125 mn in Akasa: Report

Azim Premji's Premji Invest and Ranjan Pai's Claypond Capital are in talks to invest about $125 million (around ₹1,050 crore) in Akasa Air, the Economic Times reported. The consortium is looking to pick up a "significant minority stake" in the airline at $350-million valuation, the report added. Currently, Jhunjhunwala family reportedly is Akasa's largest shareholder at 40%.
