State-run Indian Oil has said it has been preparing for options to replace Iranian oil. The company has built in optional volumes in its contracts with Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Mexico to make up for any shortfall. This comes as the US waivers from its sanctions on Iran to countries including India is expected to end in May.
