President Droupadi Murmu recently posthumously honored the late Ms. Savita Kanswal with the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, 2022. Recognized for her remarkable achievements in Land Adventure, Kanswal made history as the first Indian woman to conquer both Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu within 16 days.
