Supreme Court said the President's order to scrap Article 370 and special status of the erstwhile state of J&K was valid. It said there was no prima facie case the President's orders were mala fide (in bad faith) or extraneous exercise of power. It upheld the validity of the 2019 move and ordered restoration of statehood for J&K.
