The PCB issued a press release confirming Pakistan's participation in T20 World Cup 2026, but later deleted it and reissued revised version, reports said. The original release stated that Mohammad Wasim Jr was released for final two T20Is against Australia and that the 15-member squad would travel onwards for World Cup. The PCB removed the paragraph having World Cup reference.
