A discussion on price rise will be held in Lok Sabha under Rule 193 on Monday and in Rajya Sabha under Rule 176 on Tuesday, reports said. This comes after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recovered from COVID-19 and returned to Parliament on Thursday. Opposition MPs have been demanding a debate on inflation and GST rates since the Monsoon Session began.
