Priest calls for mandatory HIV test before church marriages in Kerala; sparks row

A call by Kerala's Mar Thoma Church Clergy trustee K Thomas to make HIV testing mandatory for couples before marriage in the church has sparked a row on social media. He also reportedly told parents to ensure that their "daughters' bodies hadn't been misused" before bringing them for marriage. People called his remarks derogatory against young members of the church.
