Prime accused Kishore Salve surrendered and has been arrested in the ₹400 crore Belagavi robbery involving demonetised currency notes looted from containers at Chorla Ghat on the Karnataka–Maharashtra border. With his arrest, the number of accused held in the case has risen to eight. A Special Investigation Team is probing the case from multiple angles.
