The principal of the Odisha government college, where a student set herself on fire after accusing a faculty member of sexual harassment, has been arrested for alleged inaction, NDTV reported. The student suffered 90% burns and is on a ventilator at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has also sought a report from the state government on the matter.
