Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra said the actress' father Ashok Chopra and she were sure Priyanka wouldn't win Miss World in 2000. "Because just the previous year, Miss India won Miss World, so it couldn't have happened simultaneously," she explained. "So we bought tickets for grand travel all over Europe and America as a consolation prize for her," added Madhu.
