Probe sought against WB Medical Council officials

APHN secretary Rajeev Pandey has filed a police complaint seeking a probe into senior West Bengal Medical Council officials over alleged irregularities linked to registration of fake doctors. APHN claimed registrations increased between 2017 and 2025 despite repeated alerts. WBMC president Sudipta Roy denied the allegations and said the charges were politically motivated.
