Global automakers have warned of potential production halts within weeks if they are unable to secure China's critical minerals. India's Bajaj Auto warned that any further delays in securing rare earth magnets from China could "seriously impact" its EV production. China's rare-earth export curbs also threaten to adversely impact aerospace, semiconductor and defence companies.
