In Assam's Saraipung village, former hunters have turned into eco-tourism guides under the guidance of Professor Rajib Tariang. Tariang's efforts in promoting conservation and sustainable livelihoods have helped reduce hunting, while boosting local economy through home stays and wildlife education. His initiative has led to a significant shift towards biodiversity protection in the region.
