Atlassian, maker of work collaboration software Jira and HipChat, has announced that it will acquire project management service Trello for $425 million (over ₹2,800 crore). The acquisition is expected to close before March 31, 2017. Trello's service offers digital post-it notes and whiteboards to organise tasks, and it has 19 million users, a number that almost doubled last year.
