India is set to test its most advanced hypersonic missile, the ET-LDHCM, developed under DRDO’s classified Project Vishnu. Capable of Mach 8 (11,000 km/h) top speed and 1,500 km range, the missile can accommodate 1,000 - 2,000 kg warheads, giving a significant emphasis to the strategic strike capability of India.
