Several pro-Kannada activists were detained in Bengaluru today in the wake of Karnataka bandh called by pro-Kannada organisations. This comes after over 100 history-sheeters were detained amid the bandh today morning, DCP (West) Bengaluru Sanjeev M Patil said. The bandh has been called against state government's decision to form a Maratha Development Authority and allocate ₹50 crore to it.
