Twitter owner Elon Musk said accounts which promote scams under the guise of being funny/helpful bots will be suspended. It wouldn't matter how much these accounts pay Twitter, the billionaire added. Asking Musk to look into other bots with scam links, a Twitter user said, "It's all bots who buy Twitter Blue (or even gold) and scam people with links."
