Property dealer arrested for duping man of ₹1.75 crore

Delhi Police arrested 67-year-old property dealer Brahm Swaroop Bhardwaj for allegedly duping a retired government employee of ₹1.75 crore through multiple land deals. Police said Bhardwaj and his associates used forged property documents during 2024-25. Carrying a ₹50,000 reward, he had been absconding for nearly a year before being traced to Sonipat.
