Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat on Wednesday held a meeting with the three service chiefs and directed that a proposal to create Air Defence Command be prepared by June 30 in order to enhance security of India's skies. An Air Defence Command will reportedly include air defence resources of all the three services.
