The Chennai police on Sunday detained four women and a man for drawing Kolam (Rangoli) outside people's house and common places with anti-CAA slogans. Police also detained two lawyers who went to the police station. The police cited 'unlawful assembly' as the reason for their detention and said that they didn't seek prior permission for the rangoli protest.
