Protests erupt in Paraguay over government's handling of COVID-19

Protesters clashed with police in Paraguay's capital as hundreds took to the streets to protest the government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Police fired rubber bullets and tear gas at protesters gathered around the Congress building in Asuncion, while protesters threw stones at police and burned road barricades. Health Minister Julio Mazzoleni had resigned on Friday over the crisis.
