The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday allowed public transport to resume with 50% fleet except in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu districts. The state government said that e-passes will no longer be necessary for movement. "IT companies and IT-enabled services can function with 20% employees (maximum 40 persons)," the state government further said.
