Hamza Burhan, one of the masterminds of the 2019 Pulwama attack, was killed by unknown gunmen in Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Burhan, whose real name is Arjumand Gulzar Dar, was designated as a terrorist by the Home Ministry in 2022. As many as 40 CRPF jawans were killed in action in the Pulwama terror attack.
