The auto-rickshaw unions have announced a strike on February 14 to oppose app-based bike taxi services in Pune. The decision was taken in a meeting of auto unions on Tuesday in which they expressed concern over the cheaper two-wheeler taxi services for solo riders impacting their businesses. According to Pune RTO, the bike taxis don't have a legal permission.
