Pune city reported more than 30 murders in four months, i.e. from January to April, according to data provided by the Crime Branch of Pune Police. Reportedly, 14 murders took place due to 'flimsy reasons'. Notably, in a recent case, a 30-year-old pedestrian in Pune was allegedly stoned to death by two motorcycle-borne youths in a road rage incident.
