Pune district reported 239 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday while 166 people were discharged from hospitals. Two people succumbed to the virus. There are 1,718 active patients in the district and 575 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1,143 are in home isolation, according to Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer.
