The Maharashtra Transmission Committee has approved a ₹241 crore transmission project to strengthen Pune's electricity network and improve power reliability. The scheme is part of a larger package of transmission projects worth over ₹11,700 crore approved across Maharashtra to modernise the state's power infrastructure, support rising electricity demand.
