Pune district authorities have issued prohibitory orders, called Jamavbandi, effective from the night of May 26 for 14 days in view of West Asian tensions. According to a Pune Municipal Corporation circular, all public gatherings, protests, marches, demonstrations and meetings are prohibited. The move aims to maintain law and order throughout the city during the period.
