The Pune IPL franchise, owned by Sanjiv Goenka, has chosen the name 'Rising Pune Supergiants' for the team. The team also announced that Indian Limited Overs captain MS Dhoni will be their skipper for the 2016 IPL season. They had earlier chosen Stephen Fleming as their coach, keeping the team management structure the same as the Chennai Super Kings.
