Pune IT employee dies by suicide, husband, in-laws held over dowry

A 23-year-old IT employee allegedly died by suicide at her Pune matrimonial home months after marriage. Her family accused her husband and in-laws of mental and physical harassment over ₹5 lakh demand to buy a car. Police arrested all three after her father's complaint, booking them under the Dowry Prohibition Act and for alleged abetment of suicide.
