Pune Metro's underground tunnel construction has "achieved a breakthrough" after completing work on the 1.6-km stretch from Agriculture College to Civil Court. A breakthrough is when a tunnel boring machine finishes its scheduled underground stretch and comes out to the shaft's bottom. "This signifies completion of Range Hill-Shivaji Nagar-Civil Court stretch," Pune Metro rail said.
