Pune's DY Patil hospital opens multi-organ transplant centre

Dr DY Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre in Pune has inaugurated the Yashraj Prasad Patil Multi-Organ Transplant Centre of Excellence. The facility includes infection-control systems and dedicated infrastructure for transplant patients. The institution has reported 562 organ transplants to date, including kidney, liver, lung and multi-organ procedures.
