A school in Pune has issued a directive, asking female students to wear only white or skin-coloured underwear. While the school defended the move saying its intention was "very pure", parents protested and refused to sign the diktat which was carried in the students' diaries. Parents alleged that the school also restricted the number of times students could use toilets.
