Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited has submitted a Detailed Project Report of Neo Metro to the Pune Municipal Corporation. Its work will likely begin by December next year, and the project will be completed by 2028-29. It will cover a 43.84 km stretch in Pune on an elevated platform. The metro that will run on electricity will have 45 stations.
